OXFORD - Helen E. "Honey" (Lincoln) Cronin, 80, of Park Street, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, James R. Cronin of Oxford, who died in 2000. She is survived by two children, Paul "Bucky" Cronin of Oxford and Patricia "Tisha" Cronin of North Grosvenordale; two brothers, Calvin Lincoln of Warren and Ronald Lincoln of Thompson, CT; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sons, Michael "Half Buck" Cronin of Oxford, who died in 1994, and Douglas Cronin of Oxford, who died in 1996; five brothers and two sisters. She was born in Oxford, the daughter of the late Walter B. and Irene (Davis) Lincoln, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1947. Mrs. Cronin worked at B&W Footware in Webster for 18 years, retiring many years ago. She enjoyed playing basketball in high school, and the most important thing in her life was her family. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at North Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overlook Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Road, PO Box 1000, Charlton, Massachusetts 01507. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
