OXFORD - Heather D. Flynn, 36, of Oxford, Massachusetts, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. Heather was born May 1, 1979 at Harrington Hospital, daughter of Timothy and Ellen “Kate” (Zimmerman) Flynn.
Heather attended Mercy Center, McGrath School, the Learning Center for the Deaf, and graduated from American School for Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut.
In addition to her parents, Heather is survived by her siblings, Megan Sebasco and her husband Jonathan of Nottingham, New Hampshire, Shawna Robinson and her husband Devon of Wellington, Florida, and Andrea Hawkes and her husband Justin of Oxford, Massachusetts. Heather was the proud aunt of Dylan, Jackson, Owen, and Cade, who all filled Heather's life with joy. In addition, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Constance Flynn of Auburn; and her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Zimmerman of Auburn. Heather also leaves behind her beloved animals Jordan and Austin.
Heather was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, which was so evidently displayed in her daily wardrobe. She enjoyed movies and spending time with her family. Although she faced many challenges in her life, she continuously blessed those around her with her love and generosity.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the First Baptist Church, 693 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oxford Ecumenical Food Shelf, 4 Maple Rd., Oxford, MA 01540, where Heather volunteered.
