Harry Stone

OXFORD – Harry E. Stone, 86, of Church Street, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was predeceased by his wife, Elida (Lincoln) Stone of Oxford, who died in 1992. He is survived by three children, Walter D. Stone of Oxford, Judy I. Stone of Oxford, and Kevin H. Stone of Webster; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was born in Oxford, the son of the late David H. and Viola M. (Wright) Stone, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. Mr. Stone worked in building maintenance at Webster Spring Company in Oxford for over 25 years, retiring in 1990. Previously, he worked at Chaffee Brothers in Oxford for over 25 years. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at North Cemetery, Main Street, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
