OXFORD - Harry E. Brennan, 79, of Old Charlton Rd., died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. He is survived by four children, Wendy Brennan of Danielson, CT, Jamie L. Zeveska of Charlton, Scott M. Brennan of Ashford, CT, and Bruce Brennan of Oxford; his girlfriend of many years, Yvonne Latuga of Oxford; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen F. (Connors) Brennan; and his daughter, Linda L. Brennan. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Thomas P. and Florence C. (Derick) Brennan, and lived between Worcester, Cape Cod, Apache Junction, AZ, and Oxford throughout his life. Harry was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a well known carpenter throughout Massachusetts. Harry was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5663 in Oxford and Post 9399 in Apache Junction, AZ, as well as a member of the American Legion. Calling hours are Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral service and burial will be private. There will be a memorial gathering for Harry on Sunday, August 14, 2011, from 1-5 p.m. at the V.F.W. on Federal Hill Road in Oxford.
