Harriet Ann Beaudoin

September 6, 1945 — October 28, 2023

Whitinsville

WHITINSVILLE – Ann (Harriet) Beaudoin, 78, of Whitinsville, passed away surrounded by her family in thoughts and presence on October 28th, 2023, at Saint Vincent’s Hospital Worcester.

Ann spent most of her days caring for others. Raising & nurturing 3 generations of family will be what many remember her by. Born on September 6th, 1945, Ann grew up alongside parents Lillian, and Harry, and later her grandmother and then foster parents. Born in a logging camp in Vermont and raised on a farm, Ann was not afraid of an honest day’s work. Her ethics and morals were that of another time, and of a higher caliber than most. Ann graduated high school from Leland and Gray Seminary in 1964. She relocated from Vermont to Massachusetts in 1976.

She had many years of employment over various sectors, her longest career working in wire and cable for General Wire and Cable, Phalo, and Astro where she gained many fond memories and lifelong friends. Ann was very active in the Whitinsville Library & School Committee, local Boy Scouts, coaching softball, and other charitable events.

Ann was an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast. Most of all, Ann was family-focused. She would often be found reading a good book (always a new one, never a re-read), spending time beautifying gardens and tending to many houseplants, taking her grandkids to the ocean (even in the winter), performing home repairs most others would be intimidated by, or her true passion- caring for future generations from birth until adulthood.

Ann cherished her family more than anything, and the feeling was mutual. She was always there to lend a hand to not just her family members, but also any friends of her family or neighbors.

Ann leaves behind a son Sean Snaith of Georgetown, SC, and his partner Tammy; her daughter Cassandra Janton of Whitinsville, and her husband James Janton; her niece Amber Dieffenwierth, who was like a daughter to her, of Sturbridge; her granddaughter Tasha Santoro-Landry of Charlton, and her husband Ray Landry Jr.; her grandson Michael Bonet of Whitinsville, her grandson Kyle Bonet of Rutland, VT; her granddaughter Payten Santoro of Whitinsville; her granddaughter Rebecca Snaith of Fall River; her great-grandchildren Aiden, Zach, Kailie, Allyiah, Max, Hailey, Brantley, Josh, Rhett, Bennett, Lilly, Iyla, and Indianna who is due in January; her nephew Jonathan Osgood of Sturbridge; her great nephew Jonathan and great niece Chloe; her sisters Marjorie and Mary, and she is predeceased by her sister Shannon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to place donations in her memory to your local library, or youth league.
