Gloria Faneuf

OXFORD – Gloria M. (Cipriano) Faneuf, 92, of Dudley Road, died Friday, August 4, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Richard D. Faneuf who died in 1993. She is survived by three sons, David J. Faneuf of Oxford, Edward Faneuf of Orange and William Faneuf of Oxford; Todd Barker, who she always considered a son; two brothers, Enio Cipriano of Southboro and Robert Cipriano of Marlboro; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sons, Raymond Robinson Jr., Richard Faneuf Jr., and Thomas Faneuf. She was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Enio G. and Genevia (Cashes) Cipriano, and lived in Marlboro, Northboro, and California, before moving to Oxford in 1976. She graduated from Marlboro High School.

Mrs. Faneuf spent most of her life caring for her home and family. Previously, she worked for her father at the Dew Drop Inn in Northboro, where she participated in many aspects of the business. She later continued working with her father at the Rialto in Marlboro. She worked in the shoe industry and was proud to be a shoe model. In addition, Mrs. Faneuf worked for the Department of Employment, Sharfman’s in Worcester, was a secretary to an attorney in Worcester, and was a hostess at Indian Meadows Country Club. She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her family.

Memorial calling hours are Friday, August 11, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
