Gary Beford

DUDLEY – Gary P. Beford, 55, formerly of Dudley, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016. He is survived by two brothers, Paul R. Beford of Gardner, and Bruce C. Beford and his wife Linda of Newport, NH; his sister, Diane M. Mitti and her husband Scott of Dudley; three nephews, two nieces, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert L. and Claire M. (Harvard) Beford, and lived in Oxford and Dudley before moving to Beverly in 2014. He graduated from Bay Path R.V.T. High School in Charlton in 1979.

Mr. Beford worked at the Worcester County House of Corrections for over 10 years. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking.

A private memorial service will be held for his family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veteran’s Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
