OXFORD - Garry P. Pratt, 57, of Shady Lane, died Saturday, October 17, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra A. (LaMonda) Pratt of Oxford; three sons, Jayme P. Pratt and his wife Amy, Jeremy F. Pratt and his wife Leanne, and Adam J. Pratt and his partner Tanya; his mother, Joan L. (Dumouchel) Pratt; two sisters, Gwen and Lori; five grandchildren, Jacob, Savannah, Georgina, Parker, and Owen; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Randy Pratt. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Owen "Joe" J. Pratt, was raised in Worcester and lived in Cherry Valley, before moving to Oxford 37 years ago. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School in Worcester. Mr. Pratt was a machinist for over 40 years, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed outdoor activities, hiking, and going to the beach. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff in the Critical Care Unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, for the exceptional care they gave to Garry during his time there. Memorial calling hours are Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 1-3 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospital, c/o C.C.U., 123 Summer St., Worcester, MA 01608.
