OXFORD – Gail M. Waterhouse, 71, of Beverly Street, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in her home. She is survived by three daughters, Karen M. Young of Webster, Kim M. Young of Fitchburg, and Kay M. Young of Oxford; her mother, Mary A. (Perno) Waterhouse of Oxford; her brother, Robert Waterhouse and his wife Darlene of Charlton; her sister, Donna Chauvin of Charlton; her former husband, Michael S. Young of Oxford; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson, William Church Jr. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert Waterhouse, and lived most of her life in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1970.
Mrs. Waterhouse loved music, especially playing her guitar and singing. She was a softball coach for her daughter when she was younger.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. at the family home located at 18 Beverly Street in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
