Gail Beardsley

OXFORD - Gail A. (Lavallee) Beardsley, 72, of Rocky Hill Road, died Thursday, January 29, 2009, at the Life Care Center of Auburn. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Albert E. Beardsley of Oxford; three children, Albert, Patricia, and Jean; a brother, Alfred Lavallee of Northboro; six grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alfred F. and Florence (Lygdman) Lavallee, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford, where she currently resided with her husband Albert, daughter Jean, and her grandchildren Joshua and Nicole Atchue. Mrs. Beardsley was a baker at Oxford High School for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UMass Memorial Foundation, c/o Cancer Care Fund, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
