OXFORD – Gab Suk Eagle, 89, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024. She leaves her husband, Brave Flying Eagle of Oxford; two sons, Nicolas Orloff and Alexis Orloff and his wife Daiva; a daughter, Olga Barrus; five grandchildren, Laura, Benjamin, Alexei, Nida, and Arunas; a stepson, Kenneth Wright II; a stepdaughter, Allison Mastrorio; and two great-grandchildren, Mila and Mackenzie. She was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law, Ron Barrus, whose memory she cherished.
Gab was born in Buson, South Korea in 1935, daughter of the late Jung Duk Park and Duk Yul Moon. She attended school in Buson, South Korea, came to the United States in 1984, and settled in Leicester in 1985. She became a citizen of the United States on May 24, 2006.
Gab and her husband were members of the First Congregational Church in Leicester and the Korean Methodist Church in Worcester. Gab was active in volunteering at both churches. She loved her husband and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, August 30, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
