OXFORD - Francis P. "Hank" Krevosky Sr., 87, of Main Street, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at Hubbard Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Theresa M. (Saad) Krevosky of Oxford; three children, Susan A. Bond and her husband Willis of Charlton, Francis P. Krevosky, Jr. of Oxford, and David M. Krevosky and his wife Susanna of Oxford; three sisters, Gladys "Toots" Pacenka of Oxford, Mary Lamoureux of Lynn, and Jean Holmes of Rhode Island; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Steve, and Edward Krevosky; and a sister, Stella Perry. He was born in Auburn, the son of the late John and Josephine (Osmulski) Krevosky, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Krevosky worked for the Oxford Ambulance Service and the Oxford Highway Department for 26 years, retiring in 1995. Previously he worked as a union carpenter. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 5663 and was a member of the American Legion Post 58, both in Oxford. Mr. Krevosky was a member of the Auburn Sportsman's Club, the Knights of Columbus Council 4241 in Oxford, and St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his garden. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
