Frances Jacobson

WEBSTER - Frances E. (Paholski) Jacobson, 89, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Webster Manor Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl S. Jacobson who died in 1993. She is survived by two sons, Lee C. Jacobson and his wife Joanne of Webster, and Gary L. Jacobson and his wife Pamela of Dudley; a sister, Mary Kubicki of Webster; five grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. She was born in Dudley, the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Lis) Paholski, and lived in most of her life in Webster before moving to Dudley in 2005. She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1939. Mrs. Jacobson was a cashier at Iandoli's Supermarket in Webster for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. A calling hour will be held from 9 - 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.
