Florence Macmaster

AUBURN – Florence L. (Cusson) MacMaster, 93, of Auburn and North Fort Myers, FL, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, in Caloosa Park Nursing Home in Fort Myers, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Ambrose MacMaster. She is survived by her son Ronald MacMaster and his wife Jo of Spain; two sisters, Doris Desrosiers of Auburn and Claire Phillipo of Oxford, three grandchildren, Ricky, Daniel, and Brian; great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers, Norman, Rene, Henry, and Edmond Cusson; and two sisters, Beatrice Montville and Loraine Barber. She was born in 1914, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Clara (Contois) Cusson. Mrs. MacMaster worked at Norton Company and Phyfer Shoe Company, both in Worcester. She enjoyed crafts and sewing. Services were private in Florida. After cremation, her ashes were scattered at sea. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 13821 N. Cleveland Ave., N.
