NORTH OXFORD - Eva A. (Morin) McCarthy, 96, of Southbridge Road, died Monday, November 30, 2009, in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Albert A. McCarthy of North Oxford, who died in 2003. She is survived by a son, James P. McCarthy of Pinckney, Michigan; a sister, Rita Gagnon of Aurora, Ohio; two grandchildren, Claire E. (McCarthy) McDowell and Andrew J. McCarthy and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by several siblings, most recently a brother, David Morin of North Oxford who died in 2002; and two sisters, Josephine LaMountain of North Oxford who died in 2003, and Regina Prunier of North Oxford who died in 1997. She was born in Charlton, the daughter of the late Louis and Roseanna (Prunier) Morin, and lived most of her life in North Oxford. She was a lifelong member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. A funeral will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Memorial calling hours are Friday, May 14, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
