DUDLEY – Ernest A. Leite, Sr., 76, of Chase Avenue, died Monday, November 30, 2015, at Brookside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Webster. He is survived by four children, Karen A. Leite of Dudley, David R. Leite and his wife Betsy of Danielson, CT, George St. Germain of Tucson, AZ, and Ernest A. Leite Jr. of Dudley; three brothers, Adolphe A. Leite Jr. and his wife Carol of Webster, Albert M. Leite and his wife Doreen of Charlton, and Michael A. Leite and his wife Marcella of Webster; five sisters, Beatrice M. Cacciapouti of Oxford, Patricia M. Barton of Oxford, Theresa M. Leite of Dudley, Rose M. Leite of Webster, and Lisa M. Cormier and her husband David of Missouri; four grandchildren, Samantha Clancy, Robert Steele, Hunter Leite, and Tiffany St. Germain; his former wife, Stella A. Weaver; and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Oxford, son of the late Alberto M. and Margorie M. (Dexter) Leite Sr., and lived in Oxford, Webster, and Arizona before moving to Dudley 15 years ago.
Mr. Leite was a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran, serving between the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He worked at George Saad and Sons Textile Mill in Spencer for over 20 years, retiring in 1992. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars. No funeral service is planned and burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Inc, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
