OXFORD – Edward F. Lipnickas, 79, of Sandpiper Lane, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Webster Manor Nursing Home in Webster, after a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise B. (Cloutier) Lipnickas who died in 2000; and sister, Teresa Lipnickas who died in 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen M. Smith and her husband Duane of Oxford; and his good friend for many years, Debbie Silliman of East Brookfield. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Edward V. and Gertrude (Gervais) Lipnickas, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford 53 years ago.
Mr. Lipnickas worked for Coppus/Tuthill Corporation in Worcester/Millbury for 38 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed bowling and belonged to local bowling leagues when he was young. He was an avid Patriots fan. He will be remembered as a man with a wonderful sense of humor.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to N.E.A.D.S. World Class Service Dogs, P.O. Box 1100, Princeton, MA 01541. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
