DUDLEY - Edward F. Costen, 64, of Worcester Street in Southbridge and formerly of Dudley, died Friday, October 16, 2015, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus in Worcester, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra A. (Menzone) Costen of Southbridge; three children, Timothy E. Costen and his wife Kelly of Live Oak, FL, Trisha A. Wilber and her husband Steven of Thompson, CT, and Meaghan M. Costen of Southbridge; two brothers, Mark Costen of Charlton and Alan Costen of Dudley; a sister, Gail Rice of Fitchburg; five grandchildren, Alexis Costen, Brett Costen, Jolie Wilber, Bryce Costen, and Cole Wilber; one nephew and one niece. He was predeceased by his sister, Lori Davis. He was born in Webster, son of the late Thomas and Anna (Cyr) Costen, and lived most of his life in Dudley before moving to Southbridge two years ago. He graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster. Mr. Costen worked at Cranston Print Works in Webster for over 35 years, retiring as a supervisor in 2002. In addition, he was a driver at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and was an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and faithfully attending his grandchildren's soccer, basketball, and football games. All services are private. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
