OXFORD - Earl G. Randall, Jr., 88, of Washington Street and formerly of Oxford, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary L. (Phelps) Randall of Auburn; four children, Barbara L. Randall and her husband Kenneth Dyier of Worcester, Earl D. Randall and his wife Dixie of Georgia, Robert A. Randall and his wife Kathleen of North Attleboro, and Scott D. Randall and his wife Mary Ellen of Oxford; his son-in-law, Norman H. Anderson of Maryland; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jacqueline L. Anderson who died in 2011; and his sister, Constance Mard. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Earl G. and Mabel (Miller) Randall Sr., and lived most of his life in Oxford before moving to Georgia for 3 years and Auburn last year. He graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and Nichols College in Dudley. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Randall was an accountant at Goff & Kagen Accounting in Worcester, retiring in 1990. In his younger years, he enjoyed flying airplanes. Mr. Randall served on a church mission to Chicago with his wife, and served at the Boston LDS Temple as a Sealer. His life was dedicated to his family and serving others. He was an example to everyone, and will forever be remembered as a gentle, humble, and Christlike man. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 49 Old Webster Rd., Oxford. Military burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, May 4, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.
