Earl Cofsky

MILLBURY - Earl E. Cofsky, 81, of Pearl Street, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the Life Care Center of Auburn. He is survived by three brothers, David D. Cofsky of North Grafton, John W. Cofsky of Sandwich, and Raymond C. Cofsky of Sutton; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth; and a brother, Richard P. Cofsky of Sutton, who died in 1996. He was born in Millbury, the son of the late Everett G. and Mary (Westerland) Cofsky, and lived in Millbury and Worcester before moving back to Millbury in 2002. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Cofsky was retired from Owens Illinois Company in Worcester, where he worked for many years. He enjoyed fishing. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2009, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Military burial will follow at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.
