OXFORD - Dorothy "Dolly" M. Pizzetti, 86, of Gannett Street, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013, in her home with her family by her side. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Edward "Pro" J. Pizzetti of Oxford; her son, Stephen E. Pizzetti and his wife Stephanie of Oxford; her godchild Cathy McGeary, dear friends Lisa Joseph, Eleanor Cote and Terry Dwyer all of Oxford; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Dolly was born in Oxford, the daughter of the late Alexander and Daisy (Young) Caplette, and was a lifelong resident of the town. She was a member of St. Roch's Church. Mrs. Pizzetti owned and operated The Beauty Chateau, a successful hair salon in Webster for 47 years before retiring in 1999. Dolly will be remembered for her fun- loving personality, her flair for fashion and her devotion to her family and friends. She was kind to all and had a great affection for animals. Cherish yesterday, dream tomorrow, live today was her motto and she did to the fullest! Memorial calling hours are Monday, February 25, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral Mass will be scheduled at a date and time to be announced at St. Roch's Church.
