CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Donald Arthur Prunier, 56, died suddenly at home on August 17, 2017. He is survived by his most beloved daughter, Allison of Margate, FL; two sisters, Joanne Green and her husband John of Bartlett, NH, and Dianne Behnke and her husband Corey of Brillion, WI; a brother, Raymond Prunier and his wife Gloria of Merrimack, NH; and several nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Suzanne Leonard of Avon, CT, and Marianne Ciociolo of Shrewsbury. He was born in Worcester, on September 10, 1960, son of the late Henry and Marie (Lague) Prunier, and lived in Worcester before moving to Florida 25 years ago. He graduated from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and attended Anna Maria College in Paxton.
Mr. Prunier worked at J.S. Prunier and Sons of Worcester as a bricklayer, plasterer, and mason for many years. He continued his trade for several more years in Florida. For the past seven years, he was employed by Publix Grocery Stores where he managed the seafood department, and was greatly loved by the employees there. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service is Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
