WEBSTER - Donald A. Dupre, Sr., 82, of Hugo Terrace, died Friday, August 22, 2014, at Webster Manor Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife of 56, years, Betty A. (Doray) Dupre of Webster. He is survived by four sons, Donald A. Dupre Jr. and his wife Sheila of Danielson, CT, Ronald N. Dupre of Worcester, John T. Dupre and his wife Ann of Worcester, and Michael L. Dupre and his wife Karen of Millbury; a brother, Joseph Dupre of North Oxford; two sisters, Elizabeth Whittemore of Waterbury, VT, and Rose Raymond of St. Albans, VT; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Dupre; and two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Jane Quilliam. He was born in St. Albans, VT, the son of the late Joseph and Alma (Elwood) Dupre, and lived in Vermont, Worcester, and Rutland, before moving to Oxford 10 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Dupre owned and operated Dupre & Sons Roofing for over 40 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed hunting and was a fan of the Boston Bruins. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, August 29, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
