WEBSTER - Dennis R. St. Hilaire, 68, of Laurelwood Drive, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus in Worcester, surrounded by his family following a 15-year courageous battle with leukemia. He is survived by his mother, Rita M. (LaPlante) St. Hilaire of Webster; two daughters, Dendra Lee Bodreau and her significant other Daniel Degnan of Oxford, and Nicole L. Enberg and her husband Richard of Charlton; three grandchildren, Spencer and Dalton Bodreau, both of Oxford, and Preston Enberg of Charlton; his loving partner of 19 years, Carol L. Hoye of Webster; Carol's children, Deborah Samia and Tammy Hoye, both of Dudley, and Lisa Rudzinski of Thompson, CT; Carol's granddaughters, Alexis, Mariah, Caterina, EmilyAnn, Lauryn, and Paige; and his former wife, Sandra Kilian of Thompson, CT. He was born in Webster, the son of the late Dennis J. St. Hilaire. He graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1961 and later attended the Salter School of Business and Becker College. Dennis served as manager of purchasing for the Tupperware Company for over 20 years. After leaving Tupperware in 1988, he owned several successful businesses including Custom Payroll and Tax Services, and his most recent endeavor, Dennis St. Hilaire and Rob Rea Co. Always a car enthusiast, Dennis loved attending car shows and enjoyed his extensive collection which included his Avanti convertible, his 56 Chevy Cameo pickup, and his 39 Dodge as his favorites. In addition to his cars, Dennis' great love was spending time with his family and friends, especially while boating around Webster Lake. He was a member of many car associations and was past chancellor of the Knights of Columbus Council 4241 in Oxford. A funeral will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, 18 East Main St., Webster. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster. Calling hours are Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168, or to Sacred Heart Church, 18 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570.
