Dennis Fitton

WEBSTER -- Join us in remembering Dennis Richard Fitton who passed away in his home surrounded by family and friends.

Dennis hailed from Oxford Massachusetts, son of Leo "Buddy" Fitton and Mary Fitton of Oxford who are also deceased. Dennis has a sister Maurine Butler, of Webster and an older brother who recently passed away Kenneth Fitton. He married his best friend and childhood sweetheart Ellen (Cazeault) Fitton and they spent their lives in Webster Massachusetts together and raised three boys.

Dennis was a United States ARMY Veteran, and was employed by the town of Webster for thirty eight years from which he retired. They were married forty four years and he leaves behind his sons and their spouses, Dennis and his wife Farrah from New Hampshire, Kris and his wife Kelly from Connecticut, and Nick and his wife Andrea also from Connecticut. He also leaves behind three beloved, cherished beautiful grandchildren Emma, Lilia, and Jordan.

He was a die-hard Red Sox fan and enjoyed spending time cheering his team on, even when they were losing. He was a very devoted husband caring for his wife during her illness and was always a great provider, putting the needs of his family before his own. He will be missed, and we will always remember him.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Central Mass Hospice, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501, as they played a significant role in both of their lives. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
