OXFORD / MELBOURNE, FL - Deborah A. (Trudeau) Goddard, 54, died July 25, 2010, in Melbourne, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 15 years, Roger A. Goddard, Jr., who died in 2000. She is survived by her son, Cole Goddard of Melbourne, FL; her father, Richard Trudeau of Oxford; a brother, Richard Trudeau of Worcester; a sister; her mother and father-in-law, Roger and Polly Goddard of North Oxford; her sister-in-law, Christine Bilodeau and her husband Ronald of North Oxford, and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Dolores (Robbio) Trudeau, and lived in Oxford before moving to Northern Virginia in 1995 and Melbourne, FL, in 2007. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1974 and Burbank Nursing School in 1977. Mrs. Goddard was a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Fair Oaks Hospital for 6 years. Previously, she worked at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT, for 18 years. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking long walks with Cole's dog, Lucy. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is assisting with arrangements.
