OXFORD -- Dayne (Woodard) Connor Morris, 87, of Rawson Ave. and formerly of Georgia, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Lanessa Extended Care Facility, Webster. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Frank W. Morris of Oxford; two children, Wes McGee and his wife Di of Oxford, and Jan McGee and her husband Eddie Smith of Billerica; a sister-in-law, Janice Woodard of Powder Springs, GA; three grandchildren, Wesley McGee, Meghan McGee, and Gina Mae Smith; a great grandson, Wesley McGee; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. She was born in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late Walter and Nettie (Sutton) Woodard, and lived in Georgia before moving to Oxford two years ago. She was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the Women's Army Corps (WAC). Mrs. Connor Morris was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of the Mount Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton, GA, and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Auburn. At this time, there are no funeral services planned. After cremation, her ashes will be returned to Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church, 22 Faith Ave., Auburn, MA 01501. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
