CHARLTON – David M. Langone, 63, of H. Putnam Road, died Sunday, May 26, 2019, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dianne L. (Prunier) Langone of Charlton; two sons, Todd M. Seifert and his wife Tina of Charlton, and Jason D. Langone and is companion Sarah Willis of Charlton; a brother, William Langone Jr. of Gillette, WY; four sisters, Sharon Dyson of Beverly, Jeanne Frowein and her husband William of Dudley, Barbara Sylvain of Clifton Park, NY, and Tammy Tessier and her partner Anthony Torte of Arcadia, FL; six grandchildren, Brittany Seifert, Jacob Vazquez, Mikayla Seifert, Travis Seifert, Jared Seifert, and William Langone; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son, Neil J. Seifert who died in 2015. He was born in Worcester, son of the late William F. and Colleen (Towers) Langone, and was a lifelong resident of Charlton. He graduated from Bay Path R.V.T. High School in Charlton.
Mr. Langone was a welder and mold maker for Bermer Tool and Die in Southbridge for 26 years. He was an automobile enthusiast and repaired vehicles for friends and family for many years. David enjoyed baseball, was an avid Red Sox fan, and coached baseball in Charlton. He loved fishing and spending time on Cape Cod.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Westridge Cemetery in Charlton. Calling hours are Friday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Charlton Little League, P.O. Box 780, Charlton City, MA 01508.
