Daniel Michael Linehan

DUDLEY – Daniel Michael Linehan, 79, (son of Jerome and Mary Linehan of Beverly Farms) passed June 2, 2023, in his home along Dudley’s Merino Pond after 5 years bravely fighting blood cancer. He is remembered by his family - including his wife and companion of 31 years, Joyce Linehan, his mother-in-law, Evelyn Simpson, his daughters, Rachael Rossi and Deborah Linehan, his son, Jeffrey Linehan, his son-in-law, Michael Rossi and Jordan Wall, and his grandchildren, Anna Rossi, Julia Rossi, and Libby Rossi - to whom he gave a lifetime of love and wisdom. He touched the lives of so many. In his short time on this earth, he was an educator, musician, spiritual thinker, entrepreneur, pillar of several Alcoholics Anonymous communities, poet, woodcrafter, and an inspiration to all who knew him. His struggles with illness have ended, but he found peace in this life many years ago. We know because he shared it with all of us. We love you, Dan.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for this summer.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UMass Memorial Health, Cancer Research Fund, One Biotech, Suite 301, 365 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01605. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
