WEBSTER – Daniel F. Fleurie, 62, of Oak Street, died Sunday, September 8, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family after a courageous 1-year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa J. (Sterczala) Fleurie of Webster, his mother, Edna (Roy) Patri of Auburn; three children, Erica Franceschetti and her husband Chris of Murfreesboro, TN, Shawn Fleurie and his significant other Maddy of Gardner, and Stephanie Fleurie of Webster; his twin brother, Donny Fleurie and his wife Lori of Southbridge; his sister, Cindy Adams of Lakeland, FL; three grandchildren, Chloe, Sophia, and Reign Franceschetti, all of Murfreesboro, TN; a special stepsister, Cathy Drinkwater of Gloucester, RI; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including his cousin Robin Rumrill of Putnam, CT; and all his friends and co-workers at Foster Corporation. He was predeceased by his beloved stepfather, Kenneth Patri.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Donald R. Fleurie Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Webster.

Mr. Fleurie was the 3rd shift supervisor at Foster Corporation in Putnam, CT, for 16 years. Previously he worked at American Polymers in Oxford for 25 years. He enjoyed WWE wrestling and he was a fan of the Green Bay Packers. He appreciated the little things in life, like spending mornings at Webster Lake. He was dedicated to his family and gave his all for them, never asking anything in return. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Cat Connection, P.O. Box 724, Webster MA 01570.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
