Dana Swanson, Jr.

OXFORD – Dana J. Swanson, Jr., 44, of Main Street, died suddenly on Friday, January 13, 2017, in his home. He is survived by his parents, Dana J. and Louise E. (Comeau) Swanson, with whom he lived; his brother, Daniel J. Swanson and his wife Amanda of Westborough; his maternal grandmother, Louise Comeau of Spencer; his niece, Sabrina G. Swanson of Westborough; and his girlfriend, Stacy Hale of Oxford. He was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in Oxford.

Dana graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton in 1990, and later attended Worcester State University and Boston University. He worked at Raytheon Corporation for 10 years. He loved photography, especially photographing wildlife, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial calling hours are Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary, 56 Capen Rd., Charlton, MA 01507.
