DUDLEY – Clifford Wayne Nordstrom, 64, of Mill Road, died Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, surrounded by his loved ones after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joyce A. (Butt) Nordstrom of Dudley; his mother, Ruth V. (Banfill) Nordstrom of South Grafton; three children, Jason M. Nordstrom and his wife Angella Leber-Nordstrom of Webster, Ashley M. (Nordstrom) Garcia and her husband Ray Garcia of Dudley, and Ryan W. Nordstrom and his fiancée Katie Clark of Worcester; two brothers, Warren E. Nordstrom Jr. and his wife Debra of Whitinsville, and John E. Nordstrom and his partner Wendy Gauthier of Oxford; his sister, Diane M. Sheehan of Putnam, CT; his sister-in-law, Mary S. Nordstrom of Whitinsville; three grandchildren, Elijah, Sophia, and Noah; four step-grandchildren, Jaden, Brianna, Emilee, Alexi; three step-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel K. Nordstrom, as well as his father Warren E. Nordstrom Sr. He was born in Worcester, MA and raised in the Worcester area. He lived several years in Putnam, CT and moved to Dudley, MA 12 years ago. He graduated from Millbury High School in Millbury, MA.
Mr. Nordstrom worked at Cranston Print Works in Webster for over 20 years. He enjoyed writing poetry and had several poems published. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, spend time at the beach and go deep-sea fishing. He especially enjoyed camping and creating memories with his family by the fire. He enjoyed playing frisbee golf with his sons, bowling, playing poker, horse racing, and playing cards with friends and family. He was a football fan who loved watching the New England Patriots and attending games at Gillette Stadium. He could often be found watching the Three Stooges and enjoying ice cream and sweets. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and loved his wife more than anything.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Church of the Reconciliation, 21 North Main St., Webster. Burial will follow at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701.
