Clifford Bleau

OXFORD – Clifford R. Bleau, 74, formerly of Old Southbridge Road, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester. He is survived by three children, Scott R. Bleau and his wife Heather of Whitinsville, Thomas P. Bleau and his wife Barbara of Canyon Country, CA, and Marlene Bleau of Worcester; 10 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Gloria L. Rusack; and two brothers, Albert J. Bleau and Willard Bleau. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Semeas D. and Louise Flora (Perry) Bleau, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1960 and was a veteran serving in the United States Army.

Mr. Bleau worked at Worcester Envelope Company in Auburn for 15 years, retiring in 2004. Previously, he worked at Universal Scrap Metal in Worcester. He enjoyed working on his home, loved fishing, and will be remembered as a great family man.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
