OXFORD - Clarence H. "Kelly" Young, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife 59 years, Beatrice E. (Dancause) Young of Oxford; a daughter, Robin A. Day and her husband Ronald of Pepperell; two sons, David A. Young of Pepperell and Gary L. Young and his wife Brenda of Worcester; 3 sisters, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and his dog, Buster. He was born in Oxford, the son of the late Clarence H. and Diana (Tremblay) Young, Sr., and lived in Lowell and Oxford. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Young was a construction worker for Regional Construction in Sudbury for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Later, he worked as driver for Eric's Limousine in Oxford for several years. Mr. Young enjoyed going to the 200 Sportsmen's Club in Webster. He was a Red Sox fan, and liked fishing, hunting, camping, going to Branson, Missouri, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. A funeral will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 18 East Main St., Webster. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
