OXFORD – Christine A. (Colecchi) Stowe, 79, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at Care One in Millbury. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pierce F. Stowe of Oxford; two daughters, Monica A. Stowe-Chase and her husband William Chase of Oxford, and Michelle L. Dickinson and her husband Michael of Charlton; a sister, Sandra Delisle of Millbury; a brother, Michael A. Colecchi and his wife JoAnn of Oxford; and four grandchildren, Tyler Bennett and his wife Andrea, Kyle Bennett, Mikaylee Dickinson, and Emma Dickinson.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Chris and Anne (Evans) Colecchi, and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Oxford 52 years ago. She graduated from Venerini Academy in Worcester.

Mrs. Stowe worked at Hebert Candies in Shrewsbury for 17 years prior to retirement. Mrs. Stowe worked at Hebert Candies in Shrewsbury for 17 years prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. She was an active resident at CareOne in Millbury. Her weeks were filled with socializing with friends, participating in many activities - her favorite game was BINGO – and visiting with family. Her laugh was contagious, and she found joy in life. She had a kind soul and genuinely cared for others. She was loved by everyone, and her family is grateful for the care she received by all members of CareOne.

Services will be held privately. Burial will be private at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Ecumenical Food Shelf, 4 Maple Rd., Oxford, MA 01540.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
