Chester Bundeff

Oxford - Chester "Chet" Bundeff, 86, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Barbara L. (Nelson) Bundeff who died in 2007. He is survived by his two daughters Lori Derusha and her husband Leonard of Thompson, CT and Brooke Gaylord of Charlton; a brother George Bundeff of Southbridge; three grandchildren, Eric Tellier, Lee Tellier, Evan Gaylord; three great grandchildren, Connor Tellier, Caralyn Tellier and Julia Tellier; and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Andrew Bundeff. Chet was born in Webster, the son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Czechowski) Bundeff. Chet worked at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton for 12 years until he retired. He previously worked at Chaffee Brothers Co., in Oxford; Cranston Print Works in Webster; and Gordon Chemical in Oxford. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Chet was a Navy veteran of World War II. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August, 24, 2013 at 12 noon at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date.
