NORTH OXFORD – Chad B. Bessey, 23, of McIntyre Road, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident in Charlton. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patti A. (DeSalvio) and George H. Ellis of North Oxford; his father, Brackett "Kip" Bessey of Worcester; two sisters, Heather L. Bessey and Katelyn M. Ellis, both of North Oxford; grandparents, Robert and JoAn Olinder of Fort Myers, FL; grandmother Frances Bessey of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. He was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of North Oxford. He graduated from Bay Path High School in Charlton in 2001. Chad had been an Electrician at Stearns Electric in Oxford for 5 years. He loved life, lived it to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He touched the lives around him with his carefree nature and brought so much joy and laughter. He will be missed deeply by all those who knew him. A funeral will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Charlton City Untied Methodist Church, 74 Stafford Street, Charlton. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, February 23, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
