Cathy Stevens

OXFORD / LAKE WALES, FL -- Cathy A. (Bellows) Stevens, 57, of Lake Wales Florida and formerly of Oxford, died on February 13, 2011, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her father Richard E. Bellows in 1989, and mother Norleen A. Bellows in 1998. She leaves her husband, Darrell M. Stevens of Lake Wales, FL; her brothers, Richard "Richie" Bellows and his wife Anna of Oxford, and Robert "Bob" Bellows and his wife Linda; three nephews, Craig, Ryan and Alex Bellows, all of Charlton; an aunt and uncle, several cousins, and her beloved beagle Pedro. Cathy was born in Worcester on October 5th 1953, and attended Oxford High School, graduating in 1971. She lived in Sherman Mills, ME, for several years where she managed a resort before retiring to Florida in 2002. She loved her garden, traveling and was an avid Red Sox fan. Cathy cherished spending time with her family, especially during her nephews' visits to Florida. She also enjoyed shopping for the children in her life, or cooking a meal for her family and guests who visited her. She will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 2, 2011, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
