WEBSTER - Carol Jeanne Tarbell, 67, of Fifth Avenue, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in her home. She is survived by her mother, Constance I. Tarbell of Webster; her sister, Karen L. Ward and her husband Kerry of Florida; three children, Connie Daniels of Dudley, Cathy Shepard of Webster, and April Walker of Putnam, CT; six grandchildren, Rebekah Braun, Gary Braun, Patrick Daniels, Alysia Ford, Adrianna Shepard, and Dylan Shepard; one great granddaughter, Charlotte Braun; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins, including her nephew Scott Tarbell and his wife and their two children. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gary W .Tarbell who died in 1969, and Philip M. Tarbell who died in 2010; and a niece, Jennifer Cody who died in 1976. She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Kenneth P. Tarbell, and lived in Oxford before moving to Webster in 1953. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1965 and received her associate's degree from Quinsigamond Community College. Ms. Tarbell worked at Ethan Allen in Dudley for several years, retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oxford, and was a member of the Rainbow Girls when she was young. All services will be private. Burial will be private at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
