NORTH OXFORD - Carol F. (Hanlon) Morin, 73, of Maple Avenue, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David E. Morin of North Oxford; three children, Debbie A. Gordon and her husband Steve of North Oxford, David J. Morin and his wife Lee Ann of North Oxford, and Daniel J. Morin of Montana; a brother, James Hanlon and his wife J.D. of Webster; seven grandchildren, Sydney Taraskiewicz, Danyelle Gordon, Jonathan Gordon, Garrett Morin, Patrick Morin, Daniel Morin, and Rebecca Andre-Perry; three great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Scarlett) Hanlon, and lived most of her life in North Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School. Mrs. Morin was the office manager for D&D Leasing Enterprises in North Oxford for 20 years, retiring in 2000. Previously, she worked at the Fair in Worcester. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. Mrs. Morin loved her camp on Glen Echo Lake in Charlton and enjoyed 4th of July gatherings. She enjoyed shopping trips with her family and friends and Friday nights with her girls. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed shopping for her loved ones. A funeral will be held Monday, September 24, 2012, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Sunday, September 23, 2012, from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
