WEBSTER – Carl P. Sjogren, 65, of Bay View Road, died Saturday, November 2, 2024, in his home after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. (Siemienkiewicz) Sjogren of Webster; his son, Dylan M. Sjogren and his wife Sabrina of Brimfield; his mother, Cora P. (Booth) Sjogren-Welch of Florida; his brother, Buddy Sjogren and his wife Lori of Florida; his sister, Wendy Sjogren; nieces and nephews.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard C. Sjogren, and lived in Auburn, Brimfield, Oxford, and Charlton, before moving to Webster three years ago. He graduated from Worcester Academy in Worcester.
Mr. Sjogren was the president of Sjogren Industries in Worcester for 38 years. He began working there as a teenager with his father when it was known as Sjogren Tool, and remained there throughout his life. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and fishing. For much of his life, he operated a farm in Brimfield. He was a life-long learner who was always tinkering and willing to try new things.
Calling hours are Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home at the conclusion of calling hours.
