OXFORD - Bruce H. Roy, 67, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 22, 2019.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert F. Roy and Goldie (White) Roy Studley. He was raised in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School in 1970. He worked in the envelope manufacturing field for 30 years.
He leaves his wife, the love of his life and best friend, Jeanne (LaCroix) Roy, whom he was married to for 46 years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Jason Roy and his partner Jessica Hilyard, and Joel Roy and his two sons, Dillon and Sylis Roy. He loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren with all his heart. He also leaves a sister, Sharon Biemiller; a brother-in-law, William LaCroix and his wife Paula; three aunts, one uncle and many nieces and nephews. He leaves many cousins and friends.
Mr. Roy loved spending time with family and friends, and will always be remembered for his hearty laugh. He also enjoyed traveling with family and going on special trips with friends.
At his request, there will be no formal funeral services. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Bruce’s life, held on Sunday, October 20, 2019, from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at the American Legion Post 58, 227 Main St., Oxford. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
