Beverly Snyder

AUBURN – Beverly J. (Wolfe) Snyder, 84, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Health Center at the Willows in Worcester.  She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Charles J. Snyder of Auburn who died in 2006.  She is survived by two daughters, Judith A. Giles and her husband Robert of Charlton, and Julie A. Robbins and her husband Dana of Thompson, CT; her sister, Christine Toda of Auburn; three grandchildren, Nicole Giles of Charlton, Dana Robbins Jr. and his fiancée Holly Phaneuf of Thompson, CT, and Brielle Robbins of Thompson, CT; a great-granddaughter, Elaina Mae Robbins of Thompson, CT; and several nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Ann Snyder who died in 1958; two brothers, Kenneth and Donald; and a sister, Laura.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter R. and Doris A. (Girouard) Wolfe, and lived most of her life in Auburn.  She graduated from St. Peter Marian High School.

Mrs. Snyder worked at Hallmark in Auburn for many years.  Previously, she worked at The Fair in Worcester, which she always considered her favorite job.  She also spent many years at home caring for her home and family when her daughters were young.  She enjoyed reading, knitting, and loved her grandchildren more than anything.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Center at the Willows in Worcester, as well as Salmon Hospice, for the exceptional care given to Beverly.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 9-10 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
