WEBSTER - Beulah R. (Liberty) Whaley, 89, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Webster Manor Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband William G. Whaley who died in 1990. She is survived by 8 nieces and nephews, her niece and caregiver Lois Auger-Mylen and her husband Philip of Dudley, Shirley Cote and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury, Beverly Kneeland of Worcester, Winifred Vient of Gardner, David Liberty of Shrewsbury, June Lewis and her husband John of Oxford, Beverly Dery of Webster, and Richard Hoye of Oxford; and many grand nephews and grand nieces, including Dr. Armand Auger and his wife Dr. Joyce Penta of Maine. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Adolphus and Zoie (Roberts) Liberty, and in Worcester before moving to Webster many years ago. Mrs. Whaley worked at the former Greeting Card Company in Webster for 18 years, retiring in 1976. Previously she worked for the former Chaffee Brothers in Oxford for 20 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Webster. A funeral will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 18 East Main St., Webster. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, June 4, 2010, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
