Betty Dupre

WEBSTER - Betty A. (Doray) Dupre, 74, of Hugo Terrace, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in her home after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald A. Dupre of Webster; four sons, Donald A. Dupre Jr. and his wife Sheila of Danielson, CT, Ronald N. Dupre and his girlfriend Mary Moreaux of Worcester, John T. Dupre and his wife Ann of Worcester, and Michael L. Dupre and his wife Karen of Millbury; three brothers, Melvin Doray Jr. of Princeton, Wallace Doray of Worcester, and Thomas Doray of Charlton; a sister, Sylvia Doray of Henderson, NV; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Melvin A. and Jennie B. (Biathrow) Doray, and lived in Worcester, Rutland, and Vermont, before moving to Webster 8 years ago. Mrs. Dupre was the secretary for Dupre and Sons Roofing for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto in Worcester. She enjoyed knitting and playing cards. She bowled in several area bowling leagues several years ago, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, March 25, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
