OXFORD – Beth A. Casamassa, 47, of Depot Road, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She is survived by her companion of 24 years, John W. MacLeod of Oxford; two children, Angela N. MacLeod and Kristian D. MacLeod, both of Oxford; her mother-in-law, Linda MacLeod of Maine; her aunt, Carol Renaud; her uncle, James LaBaire, and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Cosmo J. Casamassa and Susan E. (Leader) Sullivan, and lived most of her life in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1987.
Miss Casamassa was a pharmacy technician at C.V.S., before staying home to care for her children. She enjoyed crafts, decorating for the holidays, baking, using the web, and spending her time in Maine with her family.
Memorial service will be private. Burial will be private at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions may be made to the National Necrotizing Fasciitis Foundation, Donna Batdorff, 2731 Porter SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49509. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
