OXFORD - Bertha I. (Ritchie) Boutillette, 84, of Old Dudley Road, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Webster Manor Nursing Home in Webster. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Arthur A. Boutillette of Oxford, who died in 1995. She is survived by a son, Christopher J. Boutillette and his wife Peggy of Oxford; and a nephew Jim and his wife Amy. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christine A. Chavez, who died in 1990; and a sister, Gladys J. Clouthier of Oxford. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Cream) Ritchie, and lived in Boston for 10 years before moving to Oxford in 1935. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1942. Mrs. Boutillette was a bookkeeper at Iron Craft Fabricating Company for 40 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. Mrs. Boutillette was a member of the Oxford Art Association and was a skilled artist who especially enjoyed painting landscapes in oils. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, MA-NH Office, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
