Bernadette Bilodeau

OXFORD - Bernadette J. (Boucher) Bilodeau, 90, of Locust Street, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Lorenzo J. Bilodeau of Oxford, who died in 2010. She is survived by two sons, Paul L. Bilodeau and his wife Sharon of Webster; and Donald J. Bilodeau and his wife Judith of Oxford; her daughter-in-law, Christine Bilodeau of North Oxford; her sister, Theresa Black and her husband Robert of Holden; six grandchildren, Kelly Lincoln, Paul E. Bilodeau, Kim Bilodeau, Jaline Polinski, and Chad Bilodeau; eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald W. Bilodeau of North Oxford, who died in 2014; and four brothers, Antoine, Armand, Francis, and Cyrice Boucher. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William A. and Mary (Lesley) Boucher, and lived in Oxford since 1950. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade High School in Worcester. Mrs. Bilodeau worked at Sandalwood Nursing Home in Oxford for several years. Previously, she owned and operated Bilodeau's Rendezvous Restaurant in Oxford with her husband. She belonged to Outdoor World, and loved camping and traveling with her husband in their motor home. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, traveling, spending the winters in Florida, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, April 6, 2015, from 9:00-10:30 a.m., at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.
