Barry W. Wright

DUDLEY – Barry W. Wright, 70, of Center Road, died peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Bridgeport, CT.  He is survived by his daughter, Christa V. Wright and her husband Christopher Giaquinto of Jamestown, TN; his brother, Bruce S. Wright and his wife Louise of Brooklyn, CT; two sisters, Beverly L. Vigue of Oxford, and Charlotte Holmes of Centralia, WA; three grandchildren, Haven Goddard, Adrianna Giaquinto, and Mila Giaquinto; Michael Tebo, along with several other nephews and nieces; and his granddog, Bas Ruttin.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Stanley M. Wright and Edith A. (Sundvall) Choiniere, and lived in Dudley for the last 8 years.  He graduated from Charlton High School in 1972, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Wright worked in the paving, construction, and automotive industries throughout his life.  He was an avid racing enthusiast.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
