Barbara J. Beauregard

NORTH OXFORD – Barbara J. (Alexandrovich) Beauregard, 87, formerly of Pleasant Street, died Monday, February 3, 2025, at Care One at Millbury. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert P. Beauregard who died in 2019. She is survived by four children, Danielle T. Dayutis and her husband Steve of Spencer, Robert P. Beauregard Jr. of Costa Rica, Marlyce “Marcy” A. Beauregard of Rochdale, and Christopher Beauregard of Worcester; six cherished grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Alexandrovich.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Helen (Milaszewski) Alexandrovich, and lived in Oxford since 2004. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester in 1955. She became a registered nurse at St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1958, and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health studies from Anna Maria College in Paxton.

Mrs. Beauregard was a school nurse for Worcester Public Schools for 12 years, retiring in 2017. Previously, she taught nursing at St. Vincent School of Nursing, worked for Certified Nursing Services, and worked for Easter Seals. She was a member of the Alumni of the St. Vincent School of Nursing, the Guild of St. Vincent Hospital, AAPR – Bancroft Chapter, and the Oxford Woman’s Club. She was a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association, and coached girls’ softball for the Burkett League in Worcester.

Mrs. Beauregard was a member of Christ the King Church and Our Lady of the Angels Church, and attended St. John’s Church, all in Worcester. She loved all types of dancing, especially country line dancing, and enjoyed attending nursing-related functions. She also enjoyed golf and bowling.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford.
